Barry Goldstein came to me via his previous webmaster reaching out on Twitter. He was retiring and wanted to connect Barry with someone who could take care of his website. What I found was their website was not only had their previous site been hacked but the current one was as well. Beyond that there was literally zero ways to contact Barry via his website. The design was dated and layout was a mess. I was able to utilize the Wayback Machine to recover lost content from the first hacked site that had been missed and with Barry's permission was given full creative license for the site rebuild.
Design & Technical Considerations: The new site had to contain all of his content and easily display all of his many articles and books. It was built on Joomla 3 and has been able to receive updates and security patches as all CMS' require.
The template used on this site is a Joomla51 template customized for Barry by AM Graphix.
Website Management: BarryGoldstein.com content is managed by AM Graphix as is hosting, web tech, and maintenance.
Note: Barry's business has grown since the site rebuild and design to which he had to hire. I just got word in December 2022 that he is taking on his assistant as a full partner in the new year.
