I build my sites using the Joomla Content Management System and using the most current stable version applicable. I host my clients sites with Abivia Web Hosting, a 100% Canadian provider of web hosting and web security services. The servers are in Montreal and powered by renewable energy. My client hosting plans feature free SSL certificates (HTTPS) from Let's Encrypt for the life of your plan, not just the first year.
Most hosting providers keep one day of backups, if that (read special fees and huge upcharges). We keep 30 days worth, off-site and encrypted. We also keep monthly backups for a year. If something goes wrong with your site, we've got your back.

Backups and security patches MUST be done regularly and patches installed often within hours of release to keep your site safe. For less than the cost of a coffee a day I will take care of keeping your site up to date and backed up.
